Father's Day Celebration at Radha Kunj, Mussoorie

 

In Mussoorie at Radha Kunj, sadhaks of Jagadguru Kripalu Parishat came together to mark this year's Father's Day; and it was not only as an earthly father that we remembered him but also as our Eternal Divine Father Hari (God) and Guru or Master; as this is what our beloved Gurudev Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj reminded.”

It was a day filled with great joy as well as a profound longing that is an essential part of absence without Shri Maharajji touching our hearts; we still follow what he taught us because he leads us in spirit and we have great respect for him in his remembrance.

Aarti and Special Abhishek :- This beautiful celebration began with aarti and a special abhishek of our Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj. Through this religious rite, one could tell they gave everything from their souls into it making the environment entirely spiritual. The fire and chanting made us feel divine. It reminded us of the love of our Gurudev, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

Bhog and Prasad the Divine :- After arti and abhishek a special bhog was offered to Shri Radha Krishna for our appreciation and devotion. Devotees enjoyed the divine prasad after the offering, feeling grateful and fed spiritually. The prasad functioned as a material reminder of the heavenly love and concern bestowed upon us by our Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj.

Participating in Sankirtan with enthusiasm :- The sounds of sankirtan created a dynamic mood at Radha Kunj throughout the day. Singing the heavenly names and glory of the Lord with enthusiasm, the devotees generated a spiritual energy wave that elevated everyone's hearts. The devotees felt a strong sense of spiritual connectedness and oneness as a result of the group chanting.

An Evening of Sacred Lights :- Beautiful lights that shimmered in the darkness were strung around Radha Kunj as the day gave way to night, enhancing the joyous ambiance. It was mesmerising to see the lit temple against the starry sky; it gave out an air of festivity and divine presence.

An Emotional Tribute :- All hearts were gladdened and flooded with memories of our cherished Divine Father, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, on this unique day. For all of us, his care and direction on this spiritual journey have been a great blessing. We give Him our sincere thanks, realising the enormous influence He has had on our lives.

Radha Kunj's Father's Day celebration was a lovely merger of spiritual delight, dedication, and remembrance. It strengthened our attachment to our Guru and Eternal Father and encouraged us to keep on the road of bhakti with unflinching devotion and faith.
